Job Responsibilities
As a junior financial analyst—CAS, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Perform day-to-day cost accounting activities.
- Follow company policies and monitor key cost accounting metrics.
- Support process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with the operations team to track and resolve metric deviations.
- Post month-end journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications, in the ERP system.
- Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation in the Document Management System (DMS).
- Learn cost accounting processes and provide backup support to the Cost Accountant when required.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience are eligible.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and accounting policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills in daily work.
